Dreams inspire – and at delta Geländesport, they’ve become something of a tradition. Following several spectacular off-road concepts and builds, the team now unveils a bold new vision: a Renault R5, transformed into an off-road machine, inspired by historic rally events – where its predecessor earned legendary status and played a key role in shaping Renault’s reputation.
Compact, electric – and off-road ready: This concept is based on the new electric Renault R5 and comes equipped with a suspension lift of up to 100 mm and massive widened fender arches. For serious grip, it rides on chunky Loder AT #1 255/55 R18 off-road tires – a rare choice in this vehicle class.
On top: a fully functional roof rack that’s not just a visual highlight but also adds real utility for outdoor adventures. And when night falls, a full array of PIAA high-performance spotlights turns darkness into daylight – true to the spirit of the wild rally cars of the 1980s.
The off-road Renault is available from €15,000
Currently, the vehicle exists only as a series of renderings, which are already generating significant buzz on social media. But as is often the case with delta Geländesport: if there’s enough demand, this dream could become a reality.
Now it’s up to the community: Anyone who wants to see the R5 Mini Off-Roader move from digital concept to real-world machine is invited to register their interest directly with delta Geländesport.
The cost for the conversion will be 15.000-20.000€
