McLaren Automotive announces the delivery of its first cars equipped with exclusive 60th Anniversary options to customers in Zurich, Switzerland. These ultra-exclusive vehicles celebrate McLaren’s 60th anniversary and are inspired by the brand’s greatest on-track achievement; the capture of the ‘Triple Crown of motorsport.’
Last November, McLaren unveiled its range of 60th Anniversary options for the McLaren Artura, 750S, and GTS models. Available to order from November 1, 2023, these unique options draw inspiration from McLaren’s prestigious Triple Crown status, marking victories at the Monaco Grand Prix, Indianapolis 500, and Le Mans 24 Hours.
As a part of that, McLaren announced the possibility to order the striking 60th Anniversary Triple Crown Stripes for 750S exclusively, in combination with one of three new 60th Anniversary colours (Monaco White, Indy Orange, Le Mans Grey).
The McLaren 750S Triple Crown Stripe is limited to 60 examples
Only 60 examples of the 750S with the Triple Crown Stripe option will ever be created, and of these 11 are designated for the EMEA region. The remainder of the anniversary vehicles will be distributed across the USA and Asia-Pacific regions. Each example features hand painted stripes running up the centre of the bonnet and over the top surface of the rear wing, in alternating 60th Anniversary paint colours. The McLaren Triple Crown logo is incorporated at the front, while the wing features artwork in tribute to McLaren’s victories at the 1974 Indianapolis 500, the 1984 Monaco Grand Prix, and the 1995 24 Hours of Le Mans. The stripes are complemented with a contrasting rear wing underside featuring further Triple Crown branding.
Two examples of the 750S with the Triple Crown Stripes (one coupe, one Spider) have been delivered to customers in Zurich. This marks a significant milestone, as these are the first of the 60 vehicles with Triple Crown Stripes that will be delivered worldwide. Each car features a special dedication plaque, underscoring its exclusivity and commemorative significance.
