Luxury catamaran builder Sunreef has revealed the first interior renderings of its new Sunreef 35M Eco sailing yacht, sold late last year. Bright with both natural light and natural materials in a pale palette, the yacht’s accommodation will provide a home on the high seas and a peerless entertaining platform. The new images give an insight into the exclusive yachting lifestyle facilitated by Sunreef.
The Sunreef 35M Eco is the newest model in the Polish brand’s growing superyacht fleet. The owner of this first hull has chosen to make use of Sunreef’s large in-house interior design team to develop the layout and styling. The result is an impressive balance between lightweight efficiency and high-end finish.
A new level of detailing throughout the yacht includes custom-made 3D structured panels in wood and leather – made to order by Italian craftsmen. There’s eco leather in the main ceiling panels as well as illuminated linen, to create a cosy atmosphere using sustainable materials. Then top quality French bouclé fabric for the upholstery and brushed bronze accents generate extra warmth.
Masterful main-deck stateroom
One of the notable features of this design is the positioning of the owner’s suite forward on the main deck, rather than lower down in a hull. This privileged position affords fantastic views across 270 degrees of the horizon through floor-to-ceiling glazing. Not only that, but the owner also enjoys private access to the foredeck lounge through a dedicated sea door. The suite occupies the full 14.7m beam of the yacht, making it second only to the saloon in terms of space. It means there is plenty of room for a super kingsize bed with sea views, as well as sofas and a vanity table. Underfoot, the recessed woollen carpet is laid on super-soft Cloud 9 backing for the ultimate superyacht finish. Meanwhile, subtle mirrored panels overhead create a luxurious sense of volume.
A separate walk-in dressing area is accessed through a discrete sliding door, and the bathroom is divided by a frosted glass wall. An elegant sculptural bathtub and his ‘n hers basins are the stand out features here, moulded in beautiful limestone-effect composite. Underfloor heating and even heated stone seating in the shower add refined comfort. A further four guest cabins are laid out in the two hulls – three flexible twins/doubles and an even larger VIP, again with a super kingsize bed oriented athwartships. This is the choice of the guest accommodation, and features its own sofa corner and a his ‘n hers shower room – both with generous storage. All the cabins offer fantastic headroom and a mixture of wardrobe and cupboard space.

So many ways to relax
Social space forms the heart and soul of the Sunreef 35M Eco, with the choice of indoor and outdoor areas for different activities. The saloon dominates the main deck, offering dining for eight, comfortable U-shaped sofas and a four-person bar. Generous headroom makes this a fantastic location for chilling with the family, entertaining close friends or throwing a party. A four-panel glass door aft slides away completely to open this space up to the main aft deck outside. Flush decking gives the sense of seamless transition to the exterior saloon, where there is another bar, more casual seating and sunbeds aplenty. Here you can admire the anchorage or watch the ocean when under way.
Once you’ve arrived at a new bay or inlet, the Ocean Lounge becomes a centre for life on board. Reached down broad steps aft, this is a huge expanse of decking right on the water. Fold-down bulwarks and a lowering platform expand the space into an incredible 90-square-metre sun zone or a launch-pad for swimming and watersports. There’s plenty of room to store two jet skis in the aft garage, along with a host of smaller toys from foilboards to Seabobs.
But the biggest draw is undoubtedly the 100 square metre flybridge, which constitutes the boat’s most attractive exterior real estate. Owners can configure this deck as they please, with this first owner opting to preserve lots of open space for parties. All the same, there’s room enough for an elegantly curved five-place bar, cosy U-shaped sofas and a fantastic plunge pool surrounded with sunpads.
