wheelsandmore has expanded the performance radius of the McLaren 765 LT

wheelsandmore from Baesweiler near Aachen is still considered the top address in the industry when it comes to the refinement of all sports cars. The tuner has now taken on the McLaren 765 LT and carried out a beautiful as well as technical upgrade. The McLaren 765 LT comes with fine-tuned aerodynamics as well as a 765 horsepower 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8. The low tare weight of just 1229 kilograms was achieved with a 40 percent lighter titanium exhaust system (compared to steel), thinner glass, and polycarbonate brake discs, among other things.

Let’s not kid ourselves: a Longtail is incomparable, the howl of the titanium exhaust system, the stiffer engine suspension… – it’s the perfect fusion of agility and engineering. The newly wrapped rear wing is a masterpiece and, how could it be otherwise, is made of carbon fiber. 765 individually numbered cars will be delivered by McLaren to customer order – but let’s take a closer look at the car presented here!

The wheels

For all customers for whom exclusivity is paramount, the tuner from Baesweiler offers no less than three forged wheel models from its wheel program.

With the wheel connection wheelsandmore lets the customer the choice between genuine central locking adapter system (patented and with TÜV / EP3643513 ) or WITH conventional bolt connection:

UNDERDOCK central locking system: 9×20 inch with 255/30 R20 on the front axle and 12×20 inch with 325/30 R20 high performance tires on the rear axle.
Price: 16.557€ excluding VAT.

FIWE + FORK 3-piece: 9×20 inch with 255/30 R20 on the front axle and 12×21 inch with 325/25 R21 brand tires FIWE and FORK: 12.210€ VAT excluded.

Suspension
To improve the handling and make the modified wheel-tire combination look more impressive, wheelsandmore offers 20mm lowering springs for 677€ excluding VAT.

Even with regard to the twin-turbo V8, which is already extremely powerful in its standard form with 765 hp and 800 Nm of maximum torque, Sebastian Dohmen and his team went one better.

Performance levels/engine tuning

An updated version of the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 from the 720S is responsible for the massive standard output. That’s almost too much for the road. But in principle, this McLaren 765 LT now belongs on the race track after the performance treatment at wheelsandmore. The acceleration is now more direct and biting – the cold start roar is downright animalistic!

But driving it is a thousand times more spectacular than it reads. Let the hair blow and the baseball caps fly.
