The Filipa collection by Italian brand Tooy, designed by Corrado Dotti, finds its inspiration in the ancient Chinese lanterns, and is further declined in chandeliers with multiple or single points of light. The collection offers a table and a wall lamp.
The main element, framing the glass diffuser in perfect balance, is made of metal or coated in two-tone leather. A material that recurs in our collections and gives our objects a warm and enveloping materiality.
The collection’s chandeliers are also enhanced with a light source at the bottom for direct downward illumination.
The particular bi-dimensional structure is made by powder coated painted metal on the outside, while the inside color is sand gray. A new version in a twocoloured leather has enriched the collection.
The light source is located inside a doubleside borosilicate glass diffuser, while the suspensions have an additional integrated LED light source in order to create a direct illumination downwards.
