Zimmerli of Switzerland’s seasonal collection “Metropolitan Tropicals” combines disciplined geometry with botanical elements and conveys an archaic sense of comfort. Inspired by façades entirely adorned with plants and urban gardens in the midst of large metropolises, the spring/summer collection 2018 renders a poetic counterpoint to fast-paced everyday life.
Ladies’ Collection SS18
The ladies’ collection captivates with its lush prints and botanical colours on carefully selected, high-quality material compositions. Whether its palm trees in All-Over Print on nightwear or loungewear in eye catching poppy red, the collection provides a refreshing sensation in the middle of the urban jungle. Fine modal silk mixes can be found in the day- and nightwear section in black and in the lingerie colours Nearly White, Sable and Light Rose. Generous, floral embroidery from the House of Bischoff decorates the neckline and the back. As part of the Cruise Collection, these lingerie sets are the highlight of the Christmas business.
Flat knits in an exquisite cotton-silk-linen mix complement the loungewear lines. Sweaters, cardigans and trousers provide seductive glimpses and are available in three colours as part of the Cruise Collection. In addition, Zimmerli is introducing wide-cut loungewear items made from a cotton-linen mix, thus complementing the usual leisure looks with new models. Fans of the popular Pureness Fashion Basics are looking forward to the new leisure models: overall, dress and skirt in the colours Poppy Red, Navy and Lemon deliver the perfect colour impetus for next spring.
The nightwear offers a wide range of luxurious materials: modal silk with filigree lace inserts, pure cotton also in striking colours such as lemon, Lyocell in lingerie colours or pure silk with geometric flower motifs.
Gents’ collection SS18
The world is the city-nomad’s oyster. Mathematical constructions, nautical motifs and playful patterns evoke the spirit of discovery.
Daywear from the extremely rare Sea Island cotton is available in three colours: Taupe, Infinity Blue and Midnight complement the discerning clientele’s Basics. Two further lines containing sporty models in cotton-elastane guarantee a perfect cut and comfort all day long.
Very much in the interest of the cosmopolitan gentleman, the lines between night and daywear get blurred and allow for individual combinations. Despite the many combination options, the sporty jersey shirts that reflect the motifs of the trousers and have well-conceived bicolour cuffs, nevertheless represent refined stylishness.
Swimwear that baffles: Apparently unicolour swim shorts in Grey-Red, Berry and Acquamarine turn into tropical bicolour motifs when wet.
