This is how the 2022 collection by Opinion Ciatti tells of solid visions for new directions, of items that not only interpret new needs and requirements, but also possess the qualities of “Spices and Sauces” to add zest to new settings.

A bed for the relaxation of our furry friends, both at home and on the go. With Berberé – the dog bed designed by Raffaella Mangiarotti – Opinion Ciatti enters the world of pet furniture for the first time. Conceived to combine convenience and comfort, this portable dog bed is easy to carry and enriched by refined details, also thanks to the particular materials selected. Berberé evokes exotic travel atmospheres and is aimed at all those animal lovers who are also passionate about design and like to travel with comfort and style.
Like the mix of intensely flavoured spices that enriches the dishes of North African cuisine, from which Berberé takes its name, the dog bed successfully blends the ‘flavours’ of different materials: the ash wood of the structure is skilfully combined with the leather of the bed, while the mattress and the bag are made of a practical washable fabric.
The furniture blends naturally into any environment
In devising this dog bed, Raffaella Mangiarotti was inspired by camping beds and designed a manual interlocking system, without glue or screws, which makes it easy to disassemble and reassemble in a few simple steps, but above all ready to be stored in its bag and transported easily.
The bed’s leather surface gives a refined look to this piece of furniture that blends naturally into any environment, rejecting stylistic constraints while following instead its absolute need for freedom and recreating the feeling of home in all-new contexts. Complementing the structure, the washable, double-sided and two-colour padded mattress ensures greater comfort while enhancing the product’s aesthetics.
Berberé by Opinion Ciatti won the Archiproducts Design Awards 2022 in the Lifestyle category. With this award, the jury wanted to emphasise the originality, high-level design and careful manufacturing techniques behind this project.
