Thoughts on the concept of time and slow living are the focal point of this year’s Christmas Candle from Normann Copenhagen. Inspired by the technical drawings of time-consuming handcrafts, such as knitwear and embroidery, the candle is adorned with a graphic pattern of tiny pixel hearts.

The pattern’s soft gradient of gray tones travels from the top to the bottom of the Christmas Candle, placing the numbers from 1 to 24 throughout the entire circumference of the candle. This elongated position of the numbers and the reference to meticulous needlework act as a gentle reminder to slow down and enjoy each day in the countdown for Christmas.
