Lake Constance United. Or better yet, where Germany, Austria and Switzerland are still really green. Or blue. Or white. Those who don’t come from the region may not know that, but the people around Lake Constance like each other and do an enormous amount together across national borders. Even the people of Liechtenstein are counted, even though they don’t have a lake touchpoint. In that sense it would even be a four-country series. But since you can’t see the mentioned mountains (Pfänder, Hoher Kasten and Säntis) and the lake from the Ländle, we decided for three countries, which all have the wonderful landscape, the wonderful lake, the bold peaks of the Swiss Alps and the perfect view from the Pfänder in their DNA.

In the middle, however, we have no mountains to ensure that the soft cheese does not stick, but the familiar contour of Lake Constance, including Untersee.
