In collaboration with Kvadrat, Normann Copenhagen has selected a curated selection of textiles which will be incorporated as a part of the furniture brand’s standard upholstery assortment, while the remainder of the Kvadrat collection will be available on Normann Copenhagen furniture upon request. The fabrics in the standard selection are chosen for their high performing qualities in terms of durability, strength and design, and will supplement Normann Copenhagen’s existing textile collection. Moreover, the fabrics are chosen for their ability to complement Normann Copenhagen’s wide range of furniture, offering increased possibility for customization and personal expression.

The selection includes Kvadrat bestsellers such as the wool and viscose fabric Hallingdal 65, originally designed in 1965 by Danish design icon Nanna Ditzel. The wool and nylon fabrics Remix 3, designed by Guilio Ridolfo, and Steelcut Trio 3 designed by Frans Dijkmeijer. The selection also features the iconic wool and nylon fabric Vidar 4, originally designed by Fanny Arosen and famously re-colored in an acclaimed collaboration with Raf Simons. Another interesting addition to the selection is Reflect designed by Spanish designer and architect Patricia Urquiola.

Reflect is a new, innovative fabric made entirely from post-consumer recycled polyester crafted from plastic bottles and boasts a particularly delicate and soft hand. Also included in the selection are the textiles Canvas 2, Divina 3, Divina Melange 3, Divina MD, Fiord 2, Sahco Elle and Sahco Zero.

All fabrics offer excellent functional performances as well as a full scale of vibrant colors. The textiles are all certified to EPD, HPD and Greenguard Gold standards, guaranteeing documentation for their environmental impact, declaration of healthy contents and guaranteeing that they contribute to a healthy indoor air quality.
