Kenneth Cobonpue, Woven Jungle Collection 2017

Kenneth Cobonpue has come to Milan’s Salone del Mobile laden with woven, natural shapes. Seven collections that are the result of careful, across-the-board research into the potential of natural rattan. The products presented by Kenneth Cobonpue are even more closely associated with the idea of nature, forest and color. References to plant life in the Amazon rainforest emerge from his collaboration with the Brazilian design of Sergio Matos, with shapes and colors from the heart of the jungle.

The elegance of peacocks, and shimmering shades of blue come to life in the Peacock collection. Comfort and relaxation are essential traits of this series, designed by Federica Capitani. The collections created by the Filipino designer-cum-entrepreneur are increasingly more iconic, sculptured and precious in their artisan workmanship. Design and artisan techniques, tradition and innovation are the cornerstones of Kenneth Cobonpue’s philosophy.
