Danish design studio Moebe welcomes the new Rectangular Coffee Table

Danish design studio MOEBE introduces the new Rectangular Coffee Table as extension to their characteristic wooden table series. Available in two lengths, the new coffee table in oak is FSC certified and, like all MOEBE products, designed in their workshop in Copenhagen.

The new Rectangular Coffee Table adds a light Japanese touch to the living room, while staying true to MOEBE’s Scandinavian aesthetics. Its low profile makes it subtle and approachable, standing just 30 cm from the floor. The cross-shape leg frame gives a feeling of space, suspending the tabletop along the middle and keeping the corners free.

Designed with great precision and attention to detail, the MOEBE Rectangular Coffee Table creates an engaging beauty through its construction – with each piece threaded together over just one brass pin at its core. Nothing left unthought, and nothing added without meaning.

MOEBE is a Danish design studio creating consciously made products, furniture and interiors that last a lifetime. It’s that simple. Formed in 2014 by architects Martin de Neergard Christensen, Nicholas Oldroyd and cabinet maker Anders Thams, all MOEBE products are designed and developed into production from the studio workshop in Copenhagen. Putting efforts into materials, details, and construction, MOEBE strives to reduce their designs to their most simple form. Designed with modularity in mind, all products are component-based and can be easily assembled and, if needed, repaired and recycled.
