RC is a new line of chairs, armchairs and sofas by the Catalan designer Francesc Rifé, in which a sophisticated body rests on a visible and intentionally simple minimalist structure, that can elegantly equip any contract space or residential area. Versatile and contemporary, the RC collection is available in four different formats: chair without arms, chair with arms, sofa and armchair. Eliminating any superfluous elements, these pieces will bring a serene and timeless aura to any space.

“This collection fits into the creative line of the studio, which is characterized by order, rigor and purity. And it is also my answer to the future of contract spaces. We were looking for a multipurpose piece, suitable for hotels and restaurants as well as for new office concepts. The softness of its shape makes it, in turn, a collection that is perfect for residential use”, says the designer Francesc Rifé.

Ergonomics is another characteristic of these pieces of furniture, designed to work well in social spaces thanks to their sinuous shapes that are able to comfortably adapt to the body, combining craftsmanship with an industrial process. “Our goal is always to create timeless designs whose aesthetics will endure over time”, and the designer adds: “We strive to create an atmosphere, in this case of warmth, serenity and order”.

The RC collection, which is made of solid ash wood and is available in a natural color or painted in black, will feature upholstery from leading brands such as Kavrat and Gabriel. Its furniture recently debuted at the stand of the Catalan lighting company Vibia in the last edition of Euroluce, at the Salone del Mobile in Milan, where the furniture was used to equip this space that was dedicated to showing off the company’s latest releases in lighting. A stand designed entirely by the interior designer Francesc Rifé.
