BREITLING – Superocean sees red
Ultra technical, ultra sturdy and water-resistant to 500 m (1,650 ft), the Superocean Chronograph has already conquered land and sea thanks to its striking appearance and its peerless performances. Breitling now introduces it in a limited edition further accentuating its powerful character a new alliance of audacity, style and functionality. Its stand out feature lies in the unidirectional rotating bezel, an indispensable companion for the finest feats in deep waters, which appears clad in red rubber offering a superb touch of vivid color echoed on the chronograph sweep seconds hand, the counter rings, the date window and the model’s signature. Issued in a 2,000 piece limited numbered edition, this super-diver with its youthful and dynamic style houses a high performance selfwinding movement chronometer-certified by the COSC (Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute).
The highly readable dial is fitted with oversized hands and hour-markers, underscored by a luminescent coating, as well as a thick sapphire crystal that is glareproofed on both sides. The Superocean Chronograph is a champion of security equipped with a screw locked crown and pushpieces that can only be activated after being unlocked, as well as a valve serving to balance out differences in pressure inside and outside the case. It comes with a choice of steel bracelet, a strap in rubber or Barenia leather, or the all new Superocean leather strap with red edges to match its bezel.
